Handcrafted in 18 karat yellow gold, this North Star Ceramic Band features gold fleur-de-lis motifs and a diamond star set in blue ceramic. Over thousands of years, across many different cultures, the North Star has gone by all sorts of names, standing fixed in the sky. It is not the brightest or biggest star, but it is the most steadfast. She was considered the calmer of storms, the guiding light of all souls, which is why the fleur-de-lis was often used as a symbol. The stylized lily represents serenity and rebirth, a blend of spiritual and geographic symbolism.
